Je rencontre une anomalie avec PDF creator lors de l'utilisation du profil impression directe, le fichier envoyé au spooler de l'imprimante est très volumineux.
Par exemple un fichier word imprimer directement depuis word = 40mo , même fichier converti en pdf puis imprimer avec adobe reader = 40mo , mais depuis le profil impression direct de pdf creator le fichier spool = 900mo
Avez-vous des idées.

i wanted to create a new profile with watermark (pdf) in this program, but it does not work.
is there anywhere an instruction how to do this?
I can not select/choose athe pdf-file which will be the watermark/header of the to be converted word file...

Hello, I have a problem with the "fit" button in the print page.
If the pdf I want to print is bigger than A4 (210x297 mm) or is a borderless A4 (so, any pdf file that need to be resized to be 'fitted' in an A4 page) is printed with about 1 cm out of the page.
Sorry, for my english. I hope you can understand me.
For example. I have an A3 pdf file, I print with 'Fit' button selected but the printed page will be cutted of about 1 cm in every side (the preview is perfect, only the printed page is bad).
I have this issue on 3 different Pc's with 3 different printers so I think is in some way related to my language (italian) or size (european A4).
Of course no problem with any other pdf viewer like Adobe Reader or Foxit Reader with all the same files.
Any clues ?
I have the latest PDF Archiect 6 Pro version, italian.

nun, das ist leider nicht so. Habe gleich getestet. Resultat: mit pdf-creator 8 Seiten gedruckt, die Auswahlmöglichkeit kam schon, gedruckt wurden schließlich 36 Seiten, nur jede vierte war richtig, die drei dazwischen blass und anscheinend irgend ein Fehldruck. Ein Farbfoto war dabei, viermal schwarz weiß, aber auch als sw nicht richtig dargestellt. Das ganze natürlich unbrauchbar.
Zu meiner ursprünglichen Frage, ich kopiere meine Anfrage hinein > Habe bis jetzt pdf creator für Fotos und Texte in pdf ausdrucken verwendet, dabei wurde architekt 6 aufgerufen. Es ist dann immer die Einstellmöglichkeit gekommen: "Hohe Qualität (Größere Datei)". Das kommt nun nicht mehr, bzw. werden Farben überhaupt nicht mehr gedruckt. Wenn ich bereits am Beginn mit "Architekt 6" drucke, kommt beim Konvertierungsvorgang die Möglichkeit „Hohe Qualität (Größere Datei)“ nicht mehr. Diese Qualitätsabstufung (es gibt auch „Standard“) ist wichtig. Hat das Kaufprodukt „Architekt Professionell“ diese Einstellmöglichkeit ?

es kann sich hierbei an sich nur um ein Konfigurationsproblem handeln, der PDFCreator vervielfacht von alleine keine Seiten und hat normalerweise auch keine Probleme mit Farbdarstellung. Die verschiedenen Qualitätseinstellungen sind nach wie vor vorhanden(das Fenster ist im PDFCreator Plus/Free abgesehen von dem "Business" Schriftzug identisch):
Der PDF Architect Professional hat diese Einstellungen zur Qualität nicht direkt wie im PDFCreator, kann allerdings die Dateigröße bestehender PDFs durch Komprimierung der enthaltenen Bilder unterschiedlich stark reduzieren.

This is what I get when I print an A3 file to A4 (I didn't create a margin, therefore the two Os on the sides are cut off by our laser printer):
Make sure the "Usa Dimensioni Attuali del PDF per il Formato Carta"/"Use Actual PDF Dimensions for Paper Size" box is unchecked.

Ok, I suppose my english is poor and I have not explained well my problem. I retry.
When I print any document larger than A4 it cut off a small amount (about 1 cm - half inch) exactly as in your screenshot. I DON'T WANT THAT, because is not acceptable at all.
So, I repeat, I don't want that the two Os will be cutted.
I repeat, I don't want ANY part of the page will be cut in the printing.
I don't know what do you mean with ""I didn't create a margin" because every time I print a big page with Adobe or Foxit I simply click on "fit to page" and it works (since 1999).
So, again, What I have to do to fit ALL the text/images in an A4 WITHOUT cut off any part ?

Nous rencontrons des difficultés avec notre installation de PDFCreator TS. Lorsque nous imprimons quelque chose avec l'édition TS, cela prend deux fois plus de temps que l'édition standard PDFCreator pour l'enregistrement PDF. Nous avons fait les tests sur plusieurs serveurs et les résultats sont toujours les mêmes.
Pouvons-nous améliorer le temps nécessaire à l’utilisation de PDFCreator TS pour imprimer des fichiers?
Notre production est sur une machine virtuelle, Windows Server 2016.
Le nombre d'utilisateurs connectés au serveur pendant le test n'a pas d'importance. Nous avons presque le même résultat, même si nous sommes seuls sur le serveur.
Par exemple, l’un des ordinateurs virtuels sur lequel nous avons exécuté les tests possède les spécifications suivantes:
Nous pourrions avoir 20 utilisateurs travaillant sur ce serveur en même temps.

most printers have a limited printing area. which is why characters at the very edge might get cut off.
This is also the reason why the preview is good, it doesn't know your printer isn't able to print on the very end.
Perhaps the other viewers somehow detect the minimum margin required by the hardware printer and automatically add this to the page + scale the content accordingly.
This forum is run and moderated by PDFCreator Support, so I am afraid we won't be able to actually solve the issue here, we can only give very general advice for PDF Architect issues.

Good day,
I'm a new user of PDFCreator, primarily using it for its ability to export a PDF from Word and keeping image quality. The problem I have is that when I export, text in Arial is converted to Helvetica in the final PDF. This is significant because my styles are constrained by industry standards, and (for better or for worse), my end result must be in Arial. I have created sample files, but cannot link or attach them. I can email them upon request.

Hi Charles,
this is a default behavior but you can disable it by configuring the "Font replacement table" inside the PDFCreator printers properties->device settings
Helvetica is one of the Fonts defined in the PDF standard, while Arial needs to be either installed on the target device or embedded into the PDF (which PDFCreator will do, but it increases the file size).
Since they have the same metrics and there is usually no reason to not use Helvetica instead of Arial, this replacement is enabled by default.

A quick fix would be to set a default margin for all documents that fits the area your printer is capable to print to. Simply measure the cut off and create a custom margin (In Edit -> Margin -> Page Margin Setup) and set it as default for all your documents:
And of course, send an email to the PDF Architect Support team and tell them about this inconvenience. They might have another idea.
